1. Interference or Distance (Most Common)

  • Cause: Wi-Fi routers, microwaves, or other Bluetooth devices on the 2.4GHz band cause signal congestion. Metal PC cases or walls between the speaker and source also weaken the signal.
  • Fix: Move the speaker within 3 meters (10 feet) of the source with no obstructions. Turn off nearby 2.4GHz Wi-Fi devices temporarily to test.

2. PC Bluetooth Power Saving Settings (Windows)

  • Cause: Windows often sets the Bluetooth adapter to "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power," which causes intermittent disconnects.
  • Fix: Go to Device Manager → Bluetooth → Right-click your adapter → Properties → Power Management → Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

3. Outdated or Incompatible Bluetooth Driver

  • Cause: Older Bluetooth drivers (especially Realtek / Broadcom) may not fully support Bluetooth 5.3 or cause instability.
  • Fix: Update your Bluetooth driver from the PC manufacturer's website, or use a Bluetooth 5.0+ USB dongle.

4. Multi-Device Pairing Conflict

  • Cause: The speaker was previously paired with a phone or tablet. When that device comes within range, it reconnects and steals the audio stream from the PC.
  • Fix: Turn off Bluetooth on other paired devices, or unpair them from the speaker. Re-pair only with the PC.

5. Incorrect Audio Format Setting (Windows)

  • Cause: Windows audio is set to a high sample rate (e.g., 24-bit / 192kHz) that the speaker's Bluetooth chip cannot handle steadily.
  • Fix: Go to Sound Settings → Device Properties → Advanced → Set default format to 16-bit, 44100 Hz (CD Quality) or 16-bit, 48000 Hz.

6. Weak USB Power Supply

  • Cause: Front USB ports on desktop PCs sometimes deliver unstable power, causing the Bluetooth module to glitch.
  • Fix: Plug the speaker (or Bluetooth dongle) into a rear USB port directly on the motherboard, or use the included power adapter.

7. User Error: Wrong Input Mode

  • Cause: The speaker is in AUX or USB mode instead of Bluetooth mode, or Bluetooth pairing was incomplete.
  • Fix: Press the Bluetooth button to enter pairing mode (blue light flashing). Ensure no AUX cable is plugged in while testing Bluetooth.
